About the Adventure
Activity Level 1: Easy Location: Moraine State Park Guide: Abby Monday, January 19 is not only a federal holiday (MLK Jr. Day!), but it is also "Blue Monday," dubbed as the most depressing day of the year. This also means it is the ideal day to lean into your Women's Adventure Club community-- or join it for the first time! We'll meet at Moraine State Park to complete the 3.5 mile loop Sunken Garden Trail. It has about 280 feet of elevation, and is a quiet winding trail along Lake Arthur and into a beautiful evergreen forest. If you've been interested in a winter hike, but on the fence: This is the one for you! Winter hiking is refreshing and rewarding! Take the time to walk in the quiet where you can hear birds chirping and snow crunching as you progress across the trail. Total distance: 3.5 miles Total elevation gain: 280 feet Details regarding meeting location, recommended gear, and other important information will be emailed to registered participants.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
