About the Adventure

Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Boston Mill Visitor's Center, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Ohio Guides: Abby-lead, Lindsay-sweep Did you know that there are 63 National Parks across America and while Pennsylvania has National Historic Sites, National Battlefields, National Memorials, and more, Pennsylvania does not have a National Park! For this hike, let's venture to our neighboring state of Ohio and our closest National Park: Cuyahoga Valley National Park! Cuyahoga Valley National Park is a unique blend of natural and man-made attractions, both of which we will pass along this route! We'll begin at the Boston Mill's Visitors Center to catch the historic towpath for canal boats of the Ohio and Erie Canal! From there, we'll take the Stanford Trail past the Stanford Farm to beautiful Brandywine Falls, the fourth tallest waterfall in Ohio. We'll continue our loop back to Stanford Trail and the towpath to guide us back. Total hiking distance: 5.4 miles Total elevation: 500 feet Details regarding meeting location, recommended gear, and other pertinent information will be emailed to registered participants.
