About the Adventure
Activity Level 3: Vigorous Location: Raccoon Creek State Park, Hookstown Guide: Lindsay Join us for a refreshing spring hike through the serene woodlands of Raccoon Creek State Park. We'll hike for 6.8 miles amongst the evergreens and towering red pines as we soak in the fresh air and signs of the season’s slow awakening. Our journey will take us to the historic Frankfurt Mineral Springs, a once-popular 19th-century resort known for its naturally flowing mineral waters. We’ll pause to take in the peaceful setting, learn a bit about its history, and appreciate the simple beauty of water carving its way through the rock over time. Whether you're eager to shake off winter’s stillness or simply looking for an excuse to be among the trees, this hike is the perfect way to welcome spring. Total distance: 6.8 miles Total elevation gain: approximately 1,000 feet Details regarding meeting location, recommended gear, and other pertinent information will be emailed to registered participants.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your registration for an adventure, please make your cancellation at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. To cancel, please send a brief email to lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com. Cancellations with insufficient notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who have missed the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We don't offer credit for future events. Refunds are issued in the form of original payment. If we cancel due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For cancellations involving an outfitter (SUP, rafting, kayaking, etc.) we follow the outfitter's cancellations policy.
