About the Adventure
Activity Level 1: Easy Location: Zen Center of Pittsburgh, Sewickley Guides: Colleen-instructor, Lindsay-will share the experience with you Join us for a health-enhancing, outdoor Qigong practice. Qigong is a holistic and ancient Chinese practice that emphasizes posture, breath, and awareness through gentle movements. The practice creates flow of vital energy (Qi) throughout the body. We will engage in rhythmic standing exercises designed to enhance balance, flexibility, and inner harmony, fostering a sense of overall well-being and vitality. Following the Qigong, participants will be guided in a seated nature meditation. This cultivates a calm mind, bringing relief from negative attachments. It can help both in raising our sense of well-being, and in engaging our life from a place of mindfulness and mental harmony. This class will be held outdoors on the lawn at the Zen Center of Pittsburgh, located in Sewickley. Colleen Crivello will be our instructor. Beginners welcome!
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your registration for an adventure, please make your cancellation at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. To cancel, please send a brief email to lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com Cancellations with insufficient notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who have missed the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We don't offer credit for future events. Refunds are issued in the form of original payment. If we cancel due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For cancellations involving an outfitter (SUP, rafting, kayaking, etc.) we follow the outfitter's cancellations policy.
