About the Adventure
Activity Level 2 - Moderate Location: Moraine State Park, Portersville Guides: Abby - lead, Lindsay - sweep The North Country Trail is about 4,800 miles long stretching from North Dakota all the way to the Appalachian Trail in Vermont, including hundreds of miles through Pennsylvania. The North Country Trail (NCT) actually dovetails with some of the other trails nearby and winds through McConnell's Mill connecting it to Moraine State Park! For this hike, we're going to focus on a section of the NCT within Moraine State Park that starts by the bike rental, winds past the Moraine State Park dam, ducks under 422, and continues through some beautiful pine and moss sections of the woods. This will be an out and back adventure totaling 6.3 miles with 425 feet of elevation. Total hiking distance: 6.3 miles Total elevation: 425 feet Event details, including meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info will be sent via email to registered participants.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
