About the Adventure
Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Sewickley Heights Borough Park, Sewickley Guides: Lindsay-hiking lead, Jessica-yoga instructor Join us for a Full Hunter’s Moon Yoga Hike, where we’ll blend movement and mindfulness under the glowing light of the largest supermoon of the year. As we hike, the cool night air and serene moonlight will guide our journey through the quiet trails. Following the hiking portion of this outing, we'll enjoy a peaceful yoga session, allowing the full moon’s energy to inspire reflection and balance. Each stretch and breath will invite connection with nature, grounding ourselves in the stillness of the night. Expect a gentle, all levels yoga practice as we move through poses to inspire gratitude and awe for the arrival of Autumn. A slow steady flow will tap into our inner strength as the full moon in Aries ushers in fresh energy to stoke our ambitions and channel the power of the Full Hunter's Moon. The experience will leave you feeling renewed, centered, and deeply connected to the rhythms of the earth. Total hiking distance: 2.3 miles Total elevation gain: approximately 200 feet Jessica will lead our Hunter's Moon yoga practice. Jessica teaches weekly classes at ASCEND Climbing Gym and rotating Saturday's at 3 Rivers Outdoor Co. She is currently working towards her 500-hour certification and looks forward to sharing the strength, power, and confidence yoga has given her with the Women’s Adventure Club.
