Activity Level 1: Easy Location: Inner Light, Mt. Lebo Sound Bath Facilitator: Karen Romano WAC Guide: Lindsay A sound bath is a meditative experience in which we are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, drums, and even the human voice itself. Sound Healing is a form of vibrational medicine that has been used by cultures around the globe for thousands of years. In scientific terms, all matter, including the cells in our body, vibrate to a precise frequency when the body is healthy. When unhealthy or in dis-ease, these same cells vibrate to a dissonant frequency. As a Sound Healing practitioner, Karen applies resonant vibrations, rhythms, and tones to your physical body and fields that balance and re-harmonize your cells, balance brain hemispheres, reduce stress levels, and open you up to creativity, gratitude, healing, and spirituality. We've offered several sound bathing experiences. Both during and after the experience, some of our participants have reported the following: 1. A sense of lightness and ease 2. Relaxation 3. Seeing colors while eyes are closed 4. An energetic shift 5. A feeling of being "high" for days 6. A profound feeling of joy This experience is located indoors at the Inner Light Wellness Retreat in Mt. Lebo. Limited to 12 participants.
