About the Adventure
Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Montour Woods Conservation Area, Moon Township Guide: Lindsay Let's enjoy some fresh air and movement in nature! Join us for a 3 mile loop hike in the Montour Woods Conservation Area. We'll enter the woods on a wooden boardwalk, passing through a wetlands area. A gentle climb takes us onto the Oil Well trail. We'll easily descend into the Meek's Run Valley and walk along the flat, gentle path. You'll love the sounds of Meek's Run and the little waterfall. We'll cross over Meek's Run several times via cute, wooden bridges and walk along the woodland boardwalk. Total distance is 3 miles. Elevation gain is 300 feet. Details regarding meeting location, recommended gear, and other pertinent information will be emailed to registered participants.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
