About the Adventure
Activity Level 1: Easy Location: Polymath Park, Acme, PA Guides: Polymath Park Guide + WAC Guide Abby You may know Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic Fallingwater—but have you heard of Duncan House and Mäntylä, two of his other remarkable designs tucked away at Polymath Park? Join us for a guided walking tour of these historic homes, where we’ll explore Wright’s legacy, the stories behind each structure, and the preservation efforts that keep them thriving today. Polymath Park is also home to two additional houses designed by Peter Berndtson, a former Wright apprentice. We’ll check in for the tour at the Treetop Restaurant, a one-of-a-kind dining experience featuring private pods nestled in the trees—an architectural gem in its own right. Details regarding meeting location, recommended gear, and other pertinent information will be emailed to registered participants.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your registration for an adventure, please make your cancellation at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. To cancel, please send a brief email to lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com. Cancellations with insufficient notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who have missed the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We don't offer credit for future events. Refunds are issued in the form of original payment. If we cancel due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For cancellations involving an outfitter (SUP, rafting, kayaking, etc.) we follow the outfitter's cancellations policy.
