About the Adventure
Activity Level: 2 We'll celebrate Presidents' Day with a 2.5 mile hike atop Mt. Washington. While this is a rather short hike, the uniqueness of a city hike is worthwhile. The sweeping views of the Ohio, Monongahela, and Allegheny Rivers as well as the Point, the bridges, downtown, and the North Shore are magnificent. We'll be hiking along the Emerald View trail and stopping at Jim West's Point of View sculpture depicting George Washington and Seneca leader, Guyasuta. Hiking distance: 2.5 miles Elevation gain: 367 feet This hike is limited to 16 participants.
