About the Adventure
Activity Level 1: Easy Location: Powdermill Nature Reserve, Rector PA Guides: Lindsay-forest bath + Carissa-sound bath Step into the stillness of the forest and let your senses awaken, then melt into deep relaxation as waves of healing sound wash over you. This unique combination of forest bathing and sound healing will leave you feeling calm, renewed, and deeply grounded. What is forest bathing? Forest bathing is an intentional and meditative way of being in nature. It blends mindfulness, gentle movement, and sensory awareness to foster a deep connection with the natural world. Rather than hiking with a goal, we slow down—feeling the earth beneath our feet, listening to the wind in the trees, and breathing with intention. These quiet moments in nature help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and restore balance. Backed by science and rooted in ancient tradition, forest bathing offers a gentle return to presence, peace, and a sense of belonging to the living world. What Is Sound Healing? Also known as a Sound Bath, this immersive experience uses vibrational instruments—like singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums—to calm the nervous system, release tension, and guide you into deep rest. Rooted in ancient traditions, Sound Healing helps realign the body’s natural frequencies, supporting emotional balance, mental clarity, and energetic harmony. What to Expect You'll lie comfortably on a mat as Carissa intuitively weaves together tones and rhythms to create a unique, meditative soundscape. Each session supports clearing, renewal, and deep restoration. Benefits often include: * Deep calm and nervous system reset * Emotional release and energetic balance * Clarity, creativity, and spiritual connection * Better sleep and a lingering sense of bliss Event details, including meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info will be sent via email to registered participants.
