Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Station Square, Pittsburgh Guides: Abby and Lindsay No holiday season is complete without a festive tour of lights! Join us to experience Pittsburgh's holiday decorations both up close and from sweeping vantage points. Our 4th annual festive urban hike kicks off near Station Square and takes us up the PJ McArdle Roadway, climbing over 400 feet in just under a mile. Don’t worry—it’s a steady, moderate ascent. As we climb, we’ll take in panoramic views of the city, pass beneath the Monongahela Incline, and enjoy the scenery of Mount Washington to our left. Once we reach the top, we’ll soak in the spectacular sights of dahntahn Pittsburgh, then hop on the incline for a scenic ride dahn. From there, we’ll cross the Fort Pitt Bridge and embark on a city tour that includes stops at PPG Plaza, Market Square, the Highmark Tree, Point State Park, the iconic Crèche at Steel Plaza, the William Penn Hotel decked out in gingerbread, and the Allegheny County Courthouse Tree, among other festive sights. It’s a fast-paced, 5.5 mile urban hike to burn off those holiday cookies!
