Activity Level 1: Easy Location: Walker Park, Sewickley Guide: Lindsay Let's connect deeply with our senses and the nature around us, finding peace as we immerse ourselves in a restorative natural environment. Forest bathing isn't a strenuous hike or a naturalist walk - it's simply about slowing down and being present, without the need to "do" anything. This practice is both personal and communal. We'll slowly meander together, participating in a series of sensory-based invitations, and then come together as a group to share. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, or "forest bathing," this two-hour experience carries many research-backed physical and mental benefits. We'll close our time together with a quiet tea ceremony, a chance to settle into the calm we've found and savor a few final moments in the forest before heading home. This walk is pay-what-you'd-like. Please pay what's right for you, but here is some suggested pricing: $10 (accessible price): for low-income folks, people in burnout-prone professions (education, healthcare, etc.), and anyone else who'd be supported by a lower price $25 (standard price): for those who are able to pay the standard rate $40 (supportive price): for those who'd like to pay more to support others Come as you are, and let the forest do the rest. 🌿 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the event.
