Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Settlers Cabin Park, Pittsburgh Guide: Abby Join us for an autumn hike at Settler's Cabin Park, Allegheny County's most rugged gem, spanning over 1,600 acres! For this hike, we'll wind our way through several sections of Settler's Cabin Park, passing the waterfall, following along Linton's Run to soak in the sounds of the water, and making our way up and down the park's winding trails. The park is also known for its rich soil, which makes it a wonderful home for wildflowers growing freely throughout. We'll cross paths with several other trails along the way, so you can start making your list of where to explore next! This park is also known for its rich soil quality resulting in a great space for wildflowers to grow freely. Total distance is 6.2 miles. Elevation gain is approximately 670 feet 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the event.
