About the Adventure

Activity Level 1: Easy Location: The Lodge at North Park Guides: Lindsay-guided forest bathing + Stephanie - guided rhythmic breathwork Let's close the weekend in nature with a guided forest bathing walk and rhythmic breathwork practice. We'll enjoy a gentle one-mile walk through the wooded trails of North Park. Forest bathing, inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, is a slow, mindful walk in nature designed to help you fully arrive in the present moment. Through gentle sensory invitations, you'll deepen your connection to the sights, sounds, and textures of the forest around you. Following our walk, certified breathwork facilitator Stephanie Kline will guide us through a rhythmic breathwork and vocal toning practice. Moving from gentle relaxation into deeper release, this held and caring experience draws on a variety of techniques - belly breath, box breath, and breath holds alongside vocal toning - to open the nervous system, stimulate the vagus nerve, and guide you into a deep and lasting calm. Research shows that time in nature lowers stress, boosts mood, reduces blood pressure, and strengthens the immune system - and all you have to do is slow down and show up. This experience is co-led by Lindsay, a certified ANFT Forest Therapy Guide and Mindful Outdoor Guide (Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership), alongside Stephanie Kline, a Breathwork Facilitator, Somatic Reiki Master, and IIN-trained Holistic Health & Wellness Coach. 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the event.
