About the Adventure
Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Raccoon Creek State Park, Hookstown Guide: Lindsay Join us for an invigorating snowshoe through the serene woodlands of Raccoon Creek State Park. We'll snowshoe for 2 miles amongst the evergreens and towering red pines as we soak in the fresh air and fragrant pine trees. Our journey will take us to the historic Frankfurt Mineral Springs, a once-popular 19th-century resort known for its naturally flowing mineral waters, and continue through the lovely wooded trails. Feel free to bring your own snowshoes if you have them. Need a pair? Snowshoes are available to rent from WAC -- just add a rental at checkout. Rentals are $15. Total distance: 2 miles with option to add an additional 2.5 miles Total elevation gain: approximately 300 feet Details regarding meeting location, recommended gear, and other pertinent information will be emailed to registered participants.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
