About the Adventure
Level 1: Easy Location: Gateway Clipper Fleet, Pittsburgh Guide: Gateway Clipper Crew + WAC Guide and 1st Mate, Abby (Ahoy!) Throughout the summer, the Women's Adventure Club is hosting a "Face Your Fears" series - a chance to get outside, try new things, and tackle our fears. Each event is designed to be fun, supportive, and offer the opportunity to challenge our comfort zones. For this event, we'll be taking on naviphobia — the fear of boats! ⚓ We'll meet at Station Square to board the well-known Gateway Clipper for a Pittsburgh sightseeing cruise. Together we'll tour all three rivers : the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio - while the crew shares fun Pittsburgh facts and stories along the way. Gateway Clipper boats offer both indoor and outdoor seating, so if the weather cooperates, we can gather on the top deck and enjoy the cool summer breeze. If rain decides to join us, no worries ! We'll cozy up inside and watch the city scenery drift by through the windows. Whether you're feeling a little fearful or totally excited, all are welcome aboard! 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the event.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
