About the Adventure
Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Mt. Davis, Meyersdale Guide: Lindsay Yes, we're hiking to the highest point in Pennsylvania on 4/20. And yes, that's intentional! For those who may not know, April 20th is widely recognized as an unofficial national holiday for cannabis culture . We just prefer our highs with hiking boots and fresh air. Nestled in the rolling hills of the Laurel Highlands, Mt. Davis is Pennsylvania’s highest point. We'll explore a 5-mile loop through the Mt. Davis Natural Area, taking in the peaceful forest landscape and climbing the 50-foot observation tower for sweeping views of the surrounding hills. Despite being the highest point in the entire commonwealth at 3,213 feet high, the elevation gain on this hike is under 900 feet, making it a wonderful adventure for a wide range of hikers. Come get high with us ! 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the event.
