About the Adventure
Activity level 1: Easy Location: Moraine State Park, Portersville Guide: Jodie with the Penn’s Woods West Trout Unlimited Diversity Group and WAC guide Abby to share the experience Join us for an introduction to fly fishing event with Jodie from Penn’s Woods West Trout Unlimited! This Chapter of Trout Unlimited aims to: Conserve and improve cold-water fisheries Protect the environment Restore watersheds Educate tomorrow’s leaders This is a beginner activity and requires no equipment—a rod will be provided. This session is designed to help people completely new to flyfishing learn the basics such as casting, weights, and technique. No waders or boots are required for this activity, but you can expect to get wet while fishing. Event details, including meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info will be sent via email to registered participants.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your registration for an adventure, please make your cancellation at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. To cancel, please send a brief email to lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com. Cancellations with insufficient notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who have missed the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We don't offer credit for future events. Refunds are issued in the form of original payment. If we cancel due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For cancellations involving an outfitter (SUP, rafting, kayaking, etc.) we follow the outfitter's cancellations policy.
