About the Adventure
Activity Level 3: Vigorous Location: Montour Woods Conservation Area Guide: Lindsay Onward and upward! This hike is all about the climb. We'll start from the Meeks Run Valley floor and ascend up and out of the valley, then back down and up again, working our legs and taking in everything the trail has to offer along the way. Expect stands of hemlock trees, ferns carpeting the forest floor, and a couple of lovely streams winding through the conservation area. A perfect training hike for those headed to Scotland or anywhere else an adventure is calling! Total distance: 5.5 miles Elevation gain: approximately 1,250 feet 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the event.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
