About the Adventure

Activity Level 1: Easy Location: Sewickley Hills Park and Borough Building Great Room Guide: Lindsay An invitation to slow down and reconnect, first through a gentle, sensory experience in nature, then through deep rest. We’ll begin outside with a nature meditation, moving slowly through a few simple invitations that open up our senses to the sights, sounds, and textures of the natural world around us. There’s nothing to accomplish and nowhere to be. Then we’ll head inside the Sewickley Hills borough building for a one-hour sound bath. With a cozy carpeted floor beneath you, you’ll rest comfortably as layers of sound surround you. The resonant tones of singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments are pure vibrations that guide your mind and body into deep relaxation, restoration, and calm. Many participants leave feeling grounded, clear, and deeply at ease. You are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, blanket, small pillow, and any other comfort items to help you fully relax. Lindsay is an ANFT-certified Forest Therapy Guide and a certified Mindful Outdoor Guide through the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership. She received her Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 sound practitioner training with Professor Monique Mead of Carnegie Mellon. There is something profound that happens when we move gently through nature and then surrender to sound. Lindsay created this experience because she has felt the calming, nourishing effects of this combination herself and wants to share it with you. 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the event.
