About the Adventure
Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Bear Run Nature Reserve, Mill Run, PA Guide: Lindsay I adore Bear Run. It offers so much beauty! Located near Falling Water, Bear Run is the largest property owned by the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy and one of the most stunning natural landscapes in Pennsylvania. This hike features stands of Eastern White Pine and Hemlock, swaths of rhododendrons and crossing over Bear Run 5 different times via wooden bridges. Driving time from Pittsburgh to Bear Run in Mill Run, PA is about 1.5 hours. Total distance: 4.4 miles Elevation gain: approximately 560 feet 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the event.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
