About the Adventure
Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Moraine State Park, Portersville Guide: Abby It's summertime, so it's the best time to get out there and pair together a beautiful hike and a beach party at western Pennsylvania's PREMIERE beach party venue: Moraine State Park! For this adventure, we will meet at Moraine to complete the 3.5-mile loop Sunken Garden Trail. It has about 280 feet of elevation gain and is a quiet, winding trail along Lake Arthur and into a beautiful evergreen forest. Just past the parking area for this trail is the Pleasant Valley Beach at Moraine. Following our hike, we'll head over (walk or move your car to the next parking lot) and spend some time having fun in the sun — hopefully! — to share lunch and splash in Lake Arthur. Feel free to bring a bathing suit to change into if you want to add splashing or swimming to your day. Total distance: 3.5 miles Total elevation gain: 280 feet 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the event.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
