About the Adventure
Activity Level 1: Easy Location: Pigsburgh Squealers Rescue, Tarentum Guide: Blue from the Pigsburgh Squealers Rescue + WAC Guide Abby to join the fun Join us for a unique yoga experience: pig yoga! All yoga skill levels are welcome and encouraged to attend this yoga practice with some adoptable pigs from... wait for it... the Pigsburgh Squealers! Whether you are an experienced yoga practitioner, have never tried yoga, or are mostly doing this to visit pigs, you are welcome! This rescue has different types of pigs, so there might be some small piglets joining us, but there could also be giant piggy friends, too! Some of the benefits of practicing yoga include: Improved flexibility Support for joint health Reduced stress Improved sleep ... and much, much more! Also, did you know that spending time with an animal friend helps to stimulate your prefrontal cortex? It helps you with regulating emotional interactions and decision-making skills. In addition, spending time with animals is also an effective way to combat loneliness and isolation. 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the event.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
