About the Adventure

Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Zelienople Park, Zelienople Guide: Abby Abby grew up in Zelienople, so she's excited to share her old haunts — haha, get it? — with you! We'll meet at Zelienople Community Park and take the trails around the park and into the woods. At the top of the hill, the trails connect to a quiet neighborhood where we'll walk a couple of blocks to make a special TREAT stop at Baldinger's! Baldinger's ("Food From All Nations") has been a beloved local institution since 1933, originally located closer to Cranberry on Route 19. In 2008, the store reopened at the top of the hill in Zelienople, continuing its tradition of penny candy, unique snacks and candies, baking supplies, and so much more. After some time searching for treats, we'll make our way back through the neighborhood and weave through two cemeteries, Saint Peter's Reformed Church Memorial Park and Saint Gregory's Cemetery. Once we're tricked and treated, we'll head back through the woods to Zelienople Community Park and wind down right where we began. Abby promises no tricks on the trail, but there's definitely a treat waiting at Baldinger's!
