About the Adventure
Activity Level 1 or 3 Location: McConnells Mill State Park, Portersville Guides: Tory-PA outdoor content creator + Lindsay-WAC Come hike with Tory Mather of ToryTalksTrails and experience the spectacular scenery of Slippery Rock Gorge - with a waterfall or two along the way! Choose your adventure: a 1-mile hike to Hell's Hollow Falls, or an 8-mile hike taking in both Hell's Hollow and Breakneck Falls. We're thrilled to welcome Tory as a special guest on this hike! A Pittsburgh local and passionate Pennsylvania explorer, Tory has made it her mission to prove you don't have to go far from home to find an incredible adventure. She's also celebrating the upcoming release of her first book, Scenic Natural Wonders of Pennsylvania: Caverns, Overlooks, Falls, and Vistas — a guide to 84 of the commonwealth's most stunning natural landmarks. This is a wonderful opportunity to hit the trail with Tory and hear about her experiences exploring Pennsylvania. Total distance: 1 or 8 miles Total elevation gain: 45 feet or 750 feet 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the hike.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
