Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Deer Lakes Park, Tarentum Guide: Abby Let's celebrate Veterans Day with a Red, White, and Blue hike at Deer Lakes Park! Deer Lakes Park, one of Allegheny County’s nine regional parks, features rolling woodlands, scenic fishing lakes, disc golf, the Wagman Observatory, and miles of trails for hiking and exploring. Since it is Veterans Day, we're going to follow along the red, white, and blue blazed trails of Deer Lakes Park into a quiet corner of the park. If you are a veteran, use code VETERAN to make this hike free. And thank you for your service! Total hiking distance: 4 miles Total elevation: 430 feet 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the event.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
