About the Adventure
Activity Level 2: Moderate Location: Slippery Rock Guide: Lindsay Join us for a springtime adventure as we head to Slippery Rock to explore the Wolf Creek Narrows Natural Area, a stunning Western Pennsylvania Conservancy property renowned for its vibrant display of spring ephemerals. We'll stroll through this rich landscape, identifying wildflowers and discovering the area’s unique natural features. As we walk along the high-quality Wolf Creek, we’ll take in its lush floodplain, vernal pools, mature forests, and scenic old fields. This is one of WPC’s most beloved preserves. Our wildflower walk continues After our guided walk with Andy, you're invited to extend the experience with an additional 1.5-mile wildflower walk led by We'll finish our outing in the adjacent Miller Woods, a Slippery Rock University property renowned for its breathtaking abundance of Virginia bluebells , a truly magical finale to our walk. Total distance: 4 miles Total elevation gain: approximately 225 feet 💌 Registered participants will receive an email with meeting location, suggested gear, and other pertinent info before the hike.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy To cancel your registration for an adventure, please email lindsay@womensadventureclubwpa.com at least 48 hours in advance of the outing. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus a $3 processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group’s departure are not eligible for a refund. We do not offer credits for future events. If an outing is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund. For adventures involving an outfitter (such as SUP, rafting, or kayaking), we follow the outfitter’s cancellation policy.
